As somebody who creates a lot of content and just loves crafting in general (both on and off the camera), here’s a collection of all of my most used items with a short and honest review of all of them. I’ve had so many requests over the last few years asking what iPad I use, what tripod I use etc, so I thought it was time to share all the details with you because we don’t gatekeep around here! This post is all about the physical items I use. I’ll be doing another post about my favourite online resources. I want to keep this short and sweet so if you want any additional info, feel free to send me a message HERE! Or if you want to check everything out in one place, you can see it all on my links page HERE.

Please note that where I couldn't find the exact product match for another country, I posted the closest product I could find to the original.

1. iPad Pro, 11 inch, 4th Generation (10/10)

Absolute no brainer for me. Procreate is only available on iOS so it was always going to be an iPad for me, but I’m so happy I went with the Pro. It’s just that bit faster, bigger and better than the other models. I can’t see myself upgrading for a long time because at the moment it does everything I need it to!

2. Apple Pencil 2 (9/10)

I wasn’t sure it would have been worth it to upgrade from the older pencil but I’m so glad I did. The magnetic charging means that it never runs out of battery, compared to the old pencil that had to be plugged in. There’s a newer model out now though so it had to lose a point for that!

3. iPad Cover with built in Pencil Holder (9/10)

It’s a simple cover but I love it. There’s a space for the pencil which lets it charge automatically and the cover folds into a stand too if you’re watching something. My only complaint (which is very very minor) is that it can be a little hard to take in and out of the case. Disclaimer: that might just be me!

4. Paperlike Screen Protector (10/10)

I honesty wasn’t sure if this would be a winner or not but I’m so happy I took a chance. It makes drawing on the iPad so much easier because it makes the screen feel like paper! It may seem expensive at first glance but bear in mind in comes in a pack of 2. I’ve had this current iPad for months and haven’t needed to change it yet but it’s always good to have a spare. There’s a very clear instruction video about how to apply it too. Also I find it greatly reduces the glare on the screen if you’re recording your iPad.

5. Paperlike Screen Cleaner with Built-in Cloth (Refillable) (10/10)

Love love love! The cleaner is refillable, the cloth is built in and it comes with a case! What’s not to love??

6. Phone Stand for Recording (7/10)

This stand has gotten a LOT of use over the last few years and it’s held up great in some ways, but not in others. It has a rechargeable bluetooth remote which is very handy for recording so you don’t have to keep touching your phone. I’ve noticed that over the last couple of years, it’s started to sag every so slightly with the weight of the phone so I need to adjust the way I put my phone in (maybe tucking a little bit of paper underneath it). Is it still the best stand I’ve found? Yes. Would I purchase again? Yes. I’ve also seen a few alternatives of this stand and it’s just my guess, but I think they’d all face the same issue from the way they’re designed.

7. Cricut Maker (8/10)

I probably don’t use the cricut maker now as much as I used to but that’s probably down to lack of time. I still find it great for making personalised presents and DIY projects. While I’ve never had any issues with the machine itself, the software it uses can be very frustrating. I’ll be writing another blog on what the best Cricut machine is for you, but as a hobby crafter, the cricut maker is great.

8. Cricut Mini Heat Press (10/10)

Small but mighty! I love my mini heat press! It takes up hardly any room, it heats up really quickly is so versatile because of it’s size. Highly recommend!

9. Cricut Trimmer & Tools Set (9/10)

I love how compact the trimmer is and it even has a fold out ruler to make it easier to measure larger sections. I’ve never had any issues with the blades and it also has blade storage built into the bottom. The ruler can be a little stiff to take in and out so just bear that in mind. It comes with scoring blades (for cardmaking etc) and a cutting blade. The other tools include a weeder (used for taking away unwanted vinyl pieces after cutting), a scraper (used for making sure your material is stuck to the mat), a tweezers and spatula (honestly I don’t use these much) and a fine point scissors which is great. Overall I think the set is great value for money and it comes with all the essentials for getting started. I bought this alongside my cricut maker and I’ve never had to buy any additional tools.

10. Cricut Brightpad (7/10)

Do I really need it?Probably not. Is it handy for weeding if it’s a dull day? Absolutely!
